Basak Yirmibesoglu (she/her) is a graduate in Communication & Design from Bilkent University. Her primary interests lie in journalism, photojournalism, strategic communication, and multimedia production. She is deeply passionate about storytelling concerning humanitarian issues and often draws inspiration from feminist activism. In addition to her background in journalism, she has held communication positions at UNICEF, UNFPA, and IOM-UN Migration.
She is currently seeking employment opportunities in the field of humanitarian communications.
